Location Address: Po Lin Monastery, Ngong Ping, Lantau Island , Hong Kong (Bus 23 from Tung Chung MTR) The Po Lin monastery is situated on the plateau of Ngong Ping, one of the plateaus on the gorges of Lantau Island , which is the largest island of Hong Kong .
